I'm looking for a sweet, open minded, and caring follower of Allah, Muhammad, and the ahlul bayt.

Although I prefer a sister who observes hijab, I am open to sisters who are open minded and inclined towards Islam, even if they dont observe hijab.

I should mention that I am not compatible with a tempermental, possessive or aggressive sister.

Life presents a difficult challenge to Allah's followers, but when a person has a spouse who is there by their side to help them in this struggle, then it no longer becomes a struggle.

Many times, whenever Imam Ali(as) felt sad, he would look to Seyyida Zahra (as) and he would feel much better.

Honestly, from my interaction with different people, cultures, etc. I have discovered that I tend to be most compatible with those who have converted to Islam first and foremost. I also have been very compatible with Lebanese Americans and to a certain extent Iraqi and Iranian Americans . This isnt to say that I would rule out someone from any other background, but I tend to be very compatible with those two groups.

I was born and raised in the US. I am a descendant of the 8th Imam, Imam Ali Al Ridha (as). I like to have fun (hang out, shoot pool, etc.)and I enjoy having Islamic, political, economic, business and yes even fashion discussions. :) The point is I can talk about almost anything. I am part of an Islamic youth group known as the UMO. I operate a business where I supply companies their toner cartridges and computer supplies. The essence of Islam is what's known as Al Irfan or Gnosis. We often get overly caught up and too focused in other aspects and miss the whole Shell and essence of Islam. The best analogy I can give is of a Soccer Game. The idea in Soccer is to score as many goals as you can. Imagine someone playing soccer where they are ONLY concerned with 'the rules' (stepping out of bounds, hitting the ball with your hands, fouling, etc.) They would technically be playing the game correctly but they would miss the whole point of the game. Islam is the same way, our 'goals' are to get closer to Allah, not to ONLY be occupied with halal and haram(the 'rules' of Islam). My favorite Islamic role models in our times have been Shaheed Mutahari, Imam Khomeini, Shaheed Sadr, Ali Shariati and my current marja Seyyid Fadlulah.
