Assalamu Alaikum, I am a Muslim who seeks to marry a revert to Islam.I am 37 years of age, a British-born national of Pakistani origin who works as a GP in Manchester.I have been practising Islam now for 7-8 years ie pray 5 times daily,pay zakah and fast the month of Ramadan; I wear a beard and try the follow the Sunnah as much as I can.I have a steady job and my own home and I am in a position to support a wife as would be my duty in Islam. I enjoy travelling to exotic places and do so regularly;I can cook and do find it therapeutic.I describe myself as laidback and in possession of a dark sense of humour.I feel it is time for me to complete the half of my Deen which entails marriage.To my mind, a revert is already favoured by Allah (SWT) and I would deem it my duty to keep her happy whilst she would keep me on the Correct Path.We could grow together and thrive off one another.I regard all that may have been in our pasts as just that, a fleeting illusion of what no longer exists and a source of beneficial wisdom if we are to profit from what it may have taught us.
